All Escrow Officers who work at Pickford Escrow are approved by the DOC and subject to background checks by the Department of Justice. We are also subject to regular audits by the DOC, and a financial and internal controls audit by a Certified Public Accounting firm licensed in California. Controlled DRE and DOI companies are not subject to such regulations or held to such high standards.
Pickford Escrow Company can further protect your assets because it is bonded by the Escrow Agents Fidelity Corporation with insurance similar to the insurance provided by the FDIC that protects your assets when deposited in a trusted bank. At Pickford Escrow Company, your assets are protected.
